Wildlife Rehabilitation & Reintroduction
MWCF operates a developing wildlife sanctuary focused on the rehabilitation, breeding, and reintroduction of key species including:
- Springbok
- Red Hartebeest
- Elephants (rehabilitation, conflict mitigation, and education-focused conservation)
Our sanctuary provides a safe, controlled environment for recovery and preparation for reintroduction into suitable habitats.
Habitat & Ecosystem Restoration
- Protection of wildlife corridors within the Boteti–Makgadikgadi ecosystem
- Anti-poaching awareness and community surveillance partnerships
- Rangeland restoration and water access initiatives
- Climate adaptation and ecosystem resilience planning
Research & Scientific Collaboration
MWCF actively seeks partnerships with:
- Universities and research institutions
- Conservation scientists and students
- International and regional NGOs
Research areas include wildlife behavior, ecology, climate impacts, community conservation models, and sustainable tourism.
