Mokoro Tour from Ditshiping (3 Days/2 Nights Okavango Delta Safari)
Overview
A two-night mokoro tour starting from Ditshiping (a popular poling station in the eastern Okavango Delta, NG32 concession) offers an authentic, serene immersion into the Delta's waterways. This community-run experience uses traditional-style fiberglass mokoros poled by local Bayei guides, combining silent gliding through reed-lined channels with guided bush walks on islands. It's wild camping (exclusive sites), non-participatory, with sightings of hippos, elephants crossing channels, red lechwe, sitatunga, and incredible birdlife (kingfishers, herons, fish eagles).
