Overview
This 6-day adventure combines intimate encounters with habituated meerkats in the Makgadikgadi Pans region (based in quirky Gweta) with the vast zebra migration spectacle in Nxai Pan National Park. The pans grasslands teeming with thousands of zebras (and their foals), springbok, giraffes, and predators like cheetahs and lions. Meerkats are highly active foraging in the open, and habituated colonies allow incredibly close, magical interactions—often climbing on visitors as lookouts!

Fly into Maun; ~3-4 hour 4x4 road transfer (or private shuttle) to Gweta.

Day 2: Full Day with Habituated Meerkats
Early morning meerkat excursion (~1-hour drive to Ntwetwe Pan edge): Sit quietly with a semi-habituated colony as they emerge, forage, and playfully use you as sentinels—unforgettable close-ups!
